Experience the fun and competitive atmosphere of Reverse Co-Ed (RCO) Volleyball with Southern New Hampshire Competitive Volleyball (SNHCVB). Our RCO events are designed to offer a unique twist to traditional volleyball, where women dominate the front row and men focus on back-row attacks and defense. What is RCO Volleyball? In RCO volleyball, women play at the net, handling the attacks and blocks, while men play from the back row, focusing on passing and back-row hitting. This setup makes for a dynamic and exciting game that offers a different kind of challenge for both men and women. The net is set at women’s height to give women the chance to showcase their skills at the front row while men must stay behind the 3-meter line for their attacks. Event Format Teams: Each team typically consists of three men and three women, but variations may occur depending on the number of participants. Rotation: Players rotate in a standard pattern, but men stay in the back row while women remain up front for attacking and blocking. Game Play: The matches are competitive yet fun, ensuring all participants enjoy the format and get plenty of playtime. Skill Requirements These events are not for beginners. All participants must meet a certain level of skill to ensure the games remain competitive and balanced. You should be comfortable with: Passing and hitting with consistent accuracy and control. Strong understanding of volleyball rotations (5-1 and 6-2). Ball placement and strategic thinking in attack and defense. Players who do not meet the required skill level may be asked to leave in order to maintain the competitive balance. Registration and Fees $12 per player with yearly insurance already purchased. $15.50 per player for those without insurance, which includes a one-time annual insurance fee. Payments are due within 24 hours of registration to secure your spot, with a $5 late fee for any payments made after the deadline.
